We left fairly late this morning from Ventura for our short ride into Santa Barbara, the birthplace of Chuck Liddell (UFC champion) and Katy Perry (she kissed a girl and she liked it), and where several A-list celebs have one of their many homes.
It was a very pleasant ride along flat roads that hugged the coast and provided us with some beautiful shots of the ocean. We tried to get helmet cam working but it’s new technology and we’re having teething problems …apologies. IT support (aka Badge) is on the case…
Arriving safely at the Best Western Hotel located literally on the beach, we quickly set out for dinner and were greeted by a light spray of rain, which has lasted all evening. Who said it never rains in Southern California?
